Ruhnau Clarke Architects Mural

On the back of the Ruhnau Clarke Architects Building (3775 Tenth Street, Riverside) there is a bright and colorful mural.  It was designed by Ruhnau Clarke Architects (@ruhnauclarke) and painted by Geoff Gouveia (@geoffgouveia on Instagram).  As described in a Ruhnau Clarke Instagram post, "The mural is composed of various portraits to celebrate our multicultural society of all people, colors, identities, beliefs and groups. Woven together by a single contour line, it is also to remind the people that we can always stand together in unison as we remain interconnected to each other through our differences." There is also a nice time-lapse video of the painting of the mural on Instagram @ruhnauclarke.  On the wall facing its parking lot is another mural painted with the number 1950.

  1. One of my favorite murals. Glad to get the symbolism behind the white connecting line.
