A small electrical box on Iowa Ave. (3400 Iowa Ave., Riverside, CA) has been painted red, white, blue and black representing a cartoonish mushroom.  The artist is Mushe E Mia @mushe_1.

The traffic circle at Franklin Ave. and 7th Street (by 3702 Franklin Ave, Riverside) has been painted with an attractive new mural.  It is unsigned and the artist is unknown.  

Floral Electrical Box at Corner of Brockton Ave. and Garden Home Court

The electrical box, at the corner of Garden Home Court and Brockton Ave. (4087 Garden Home Ct, Riverside, CA), has recently been painted in an attractive floral motif.  The artist was Katya Orovie @orlovie, a local muralist and painter.

Floral Electrical Box at Intersection of Magnolia and Jurupa Avenues

A new floral painted electrical box has recently appeared at the intersection of Magnolia and Jurupa Avenues (about 5958 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA).  A supplemental box has been attached to one of the sides of the original box which covers the artwork on that side and unfortunately also blocks the artists name, so the artist is no longer identifiable.

Compass Painting at Riverside Municipal Airport

A large new painting showing compass directions in blue and white has recently been painted on the tarmac of Riverside Municipal Airport (6951 Flight Rd, Riverside, CA).  It is best viewed from the air but this is the best that I could do from the ground.  The artist is unknown. 

Floral Painted Electrical Box Just South of Riverside City College

The electrical box on Magnolia Ave. (4911 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA) on the corner just south of Central Middle School and Riverside City College has recently been painted with attractive floral motif featuring California golden poppies.  The artist was Ekaterina Orlovie @orlovie. The two sides of the box had previously been painted.

St. Patrick's Day Decoration in Front of Tio's Tacos

In front of Tio's Tacos restaurant (3948 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside) is painted sign with a cut-out for a head in recognition of St. Patrick's Day.  Martin Sanchez is the restaurant owner and presumably the artist who made the painting.  

Raincross Emblems on Basketball Courts

The outdoor basketball courts at Andulka Park (5201 Chicago Ave, Riverside, CA) have recently been resurfaced and a raincross, Riverside's symbol, has been painted in the center of each court.  Unfortunately they were defaced soon after completion.

Artistic Details of the Fox Theater

The Fox Theater (3801 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside, CA) has some beautiful artistic details, both in its architecture and decorations.  The theater was designed by Los Angeles-based architects Clifford Balch and engineer Floyd E. Stanberry, and was constructed in a Spanish Colonial Revival style complimenting other buildings within the city of Riverside at that time. The theater, owned by the city, underwent extensive renovation in the early 2000s. The artist that painted the eves above the box office is unknown.  More information on the theater and its history can be found here.  These are all photos taken from the exterior.
