My wife and I tried out Tacos Tacos y Antojitos (6461 Brockton Ave, Riverside, CA), a new (to us) casual Mexican restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a mural on one of its interior walls. The mural is signed but it is hard to read. It looks like Easasi Setruel.

A mixed media art display commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence has been constructed along Alessandro Blvd. near the intersection with Trautwein Road. the America 250 display has 250 painted on concrete and red, white and blue flowers planted in the shape of an American flag. The designer is unknown.

The north-facing mural on the handball court and adjacent to the pickleball court in Villegas Park (3091 Esperanza St., Riverside) has recently been re-painted with more color and additional detail. The murals are signed Jimbo Sloe Alfred Jasmine Freddy 26. Jim "Jimbo" Gutierrez (@jimbogutierreztattoos) led the effort assisted by Sloe (@sloe_motions), Alfred Zaragoza (@maddtatterz) and possibly others. The mural is entitled, "The Grandessa Azteca" and is based on a tragic ancient Aztec love story. It was originally painted in 1980, restored in 2018, and more recently 2026.
An electrical box, at the corner of Jurupa Ave. and Riverside Ave. (5790 Riverside Ave, Riverside, CA), has recently been painted in orange and yellow with pictures of branches of leaves, palm trees and the sun. The artist was Katya Orovie @orlovie, a local muralist and painter.
