Recently I was able to get inside the fence and get better and more complete photos of the courtyard mural at Ben Franklin Elementary School (19661 Orange Terrace Pkwy, Riverside, CA). I am pretty sure these were painted by Tom Seibert and his group at Murals for Schools @muralsforschools as were the murals that face the street.
Two additional new murals have been painted within the past year or so on the backside of Martin Luther King Jr. High School (9301 Wood Rd, Riverside, CA). One is on the front of an out building and the other is on the back of one of the main school buildings. I believe that the one with the running wolves was funded by one of the recent graduating classes. The murals are unsigned but were likely painted by the artists at Murals for Schools led by lead artist Tom Seibert @muralsforschools.
The new War Dog Memorial Park at 16400 Barton Street in Riverside has two large enclosed areas where dogs can freely play. The fences of each of these enclosures are decorated with silhouettes of different types of dogs. The artists of the silhouettes are unknown. I might mention that surrounding the enclosed play areas are approximately 8-10 tableaus briefly describing the role of dogs in the U.S. conflicts over the past 120 or so years.
Another new mural has joined the murals on the outside of Martin Luther King Jr. High School (9301 Wood Rd, Riverside, CA). The most recent mural is on the front of multi-purpose room and shows a silhouette of MLK with his initials. I believe that it was painted in recognition of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the school. The mural was painted by Murals for Schools led by lead artist Tom Seibert @muralsforschools.
A pretty floral watercolor by local artist and muralist Ekaterina Orlovie @orlovie is currently on display at the Orange Terrace Community Center (20010 Orange Terrace Pkwy, Riverside, CA). An attractive painted woodcut featuring a raincross, Riverside's symbol, is currently exhibited at the Orange Terrace Community Center (20010 Orange Terrace Pkwy, Riverside, CA). The artist is unidentified.

A series of painted oranges that appear to have been painted as part of an OrangeAID initiative spearheaded by the Riverside Art Alliance are currently on display at the Orange Terrace Community Center (20010 Orange Terrace Pkwy, Riverside, CA). An interesting painting by local artist Mark T. Rush is currently on exhibit at the Orange Terrace Branch of the Riverside Public Library (20010 Orange Terrace Pkwy, Riverside).
