An antique Bulova clock on a dark green post stands on the west side of the Regal Cinemas Plaza at Riverside Plaza (3535 Riverside Plaza Dr, Riverside, CA). I have been unable to find information about its origin and reason for its siting. It reminds me of the Seth-Thomas pedestal clock found downtown on the pedestrian mall.
Within the Main Street pedestrian mall downtown (3735 Main St., Riverside) stands a 1908 Seth Thomas pedestal clock. As described in a 2013 Press Enterprise article, "the century-old, freestanding pedestal clock has been in Riverside since 1920 and on the Main Street mall from 1966..."
On the corner of Mission Inn Ave. and Orange St. in front of the Cheech Museum (3581 Mission Inn Ave., Riverside) is an interesting sundial clock which was designed, constructed and donated to the City of Riverside in 1968 by Imre Kalincsak, a local clockmaker.
