An attractive Love with Joy Art Club mural has recently been painted on the west facing wall of the Community Settlement Association building (4366 Bermuda Ave, Riverside, CA). From an Instagram post, the lead artists on the project were Cynthia Huerta @lovewithjoyart, Raysa Cerna @aye_rayray and Crystal Chavez @crystalmchavez. A bridge on a single-track mountain bike trail in Sycamore Canyon Park (at approximate location) has been painted in colorful bike sprockets. It was a pleasant surprise when I came across it while riding the trail this week. The artist is unknown.
On the north wall bordering the parking lot of the Santa Cruz Inn (3425 Market St, Riverside, CA) are unique several mosaics and medallions. It is my understanding that they were designed by Stanley Wilson, an architect who designed parts of the Mission Inn and other downtown buildings. When it was built in 1927, this inn was known as the De Anza Hotel. The artists are unknown. Below are photos of the mosaics, the medallions and one early doorway.

Below are photos of their portraits and other miscellaneous works of art. Again, because of the glass protecting the paintings, some of the photos have a lot of glare and reflections and as a result, some have not been not posted. Below are photos of those showing local scenes. The paintings are protected by glass which, because of the glare and reflections, make it hard to get really good photographs. Several more brightly colored murals have recently been added to various structures of the Bobby Bonds skate park (at about 4061 Douglass Ave.). The new ones are not labeled but I believe that some have been painted by @vibrantinflux who has helped Ron Del Cid (@rondeezyyyy), Alexis Mercado (@alexismercado__) with the project.
