On the north wall bordering the parking lot of the Santa Cruz Inn (3425 Market St, Riverside, CA) are unique several mosaics and medallions. It is my understanding that they were designed by Stanley Wilson, an architect who designed parts of the Mission Inn and other downtown buildings. When it was built in 1927, this inn was known as the De Anza Hotel. The artists are unknown. Below are photos of the mosaics, the medallions and one early doorway.
