The Peter J. Weber House, a City of Riverside Cultural Heritage Landmark, is located in the side parking lot of the Marriott Residence Inn (1510 University Ave, Riverside, CA). It was built in stages during the depression by Peter Weber with occasional help from his brother Frank, and contains lots of artistic details and woodcarvings. As described on the Old Riverside Foundation website, "it is known for its eclectic Depression-era design inspired by an array of architectural styles and its reliance on salvaged materials". A number of the artistic features are shown below. The Old Riverside Foundation is in charge of the house and opens it to the public for special events.
