Tomas Rivera Elementary School (20440 Red Poppy Ln, Riverside) has a number of murals and art tiles. The colorful large mural on the west-facing wall shows a coyote, the school mascot, howling in front of the moon. This mural was painted by the artists at Murals for Schools under the direction of Tom Seibert @muralsforschools. In the playground on the north side of the school is a mural illustrating imaginative adventures. It was painted by art students at California Baptist University. Lastly, there is a tile portrait of Tomas Rivera on the wall by the west entrance to the school. The artist for the tile art is unknown.
